HTU® demonstration plant

For the innovative conversion of wet organic waste streams into biocrude for the production of biobitumen, biomethanol, SAF, and hydrogen - with full CO₂ capture for maximum climate benefit.

From biocrude
to green asphalt

Biocrude can serve as a sustainable raw material for the production of biobitumen, an essential binding agent in asphalt for road construction.

From biocrude
to biofuel

Biocrude can be upgraded to biomethanol for green marine fuel and green aviation fuel to replace fossil fuels.

HTU® Industries
The solution for nitrogen and climate.

As the founder, I believe that innovation is the key to a sustainable future.

Using our unique HTU® process, we convert manure surpluses and other organic waste streams into biocrude: a biological, oily product. This biocrude forms the basis for sustainable bitumen for green asphalt, biofuels such as biomethanol for shipping and SAF for aviation, and hydrogen. This allows us to substantially reduce CO₂ emissions, eliminate ammonia and methane emissions, and create economic value for (agricultural) businesses and other stakeholders.

Together, we are making the transition to a climate-neutral and low-nitrogen future.
